The story of Luxe Wigs By Monif C. starts similarly to how and why I start all of my passion projects...........A personal need.
When I was 26 years old, sick and tired of the black, tan, floral boxy garments that most plus size retailers had, I started Monif C. Plus Sizes. I knew that if I needed gorgeous stylish plus size clothing, other women did also. I didn't see what I wanted in the market so I decided to create it myself!
Now at 46, life has new challenges. Life is fast these days and we're always looking for ways to look gorgeous on the go. Wigs and hair pieces are a staple in many of our closets and the ONE place that I felt we needed better options is with realistic, luxury braided wigs! In addition, many women, including myself, are dealing with perimenopause and hair loss because of medical treatments, cancer, lupus, alopecia, etc and can't wear the braided styles anymore that we love.
